ISOTEL DC-CT® Current Transducers are the most accurate small form factor current sensors with low power consumption.

The Platform

DC‑CT® is a platform for standalone or embedded advanced current sensing solutions based on ISOTEL DC-CT® Platiše Flux Sensor Invention. It fills a critical gap in the market. Low‑cost Hall and TMR sensors typically achieve 0.5% accuracy at best, with limited bandwidth. High‑end fluxgate transducers offer excellent accuracy (few ppm) but consume significant power and often require multiple cores. DC‑CT® delivers 0.1% to 0.01% accuracy with wide bandwidth (MHz range), low power consumption, and a small form factor – all built around a single gapless core. This makes it the first lower‑cost technology that enables precise DC metering and protection in the same device.

We offer analog, digital, and smart sensor variants, with edge AI capabilities under development for safety products. Our product families include Compact Industrial & Residential (up to 1500 A DC), Industrial Classic (wide opening, ten times better accuracy than LEM LF series), Test & Measurement (1000 A DC, 1 MHz bandwidth, <200 ppm accuracy, rugged design), and the integrated Dewesoft Sirius XHS‑PWR solution. Custom models are available on request.

Smart Integration and Safety

Digital CAN output is already available. We are adding RS‑485 for legacy support and Ethernet with Precision Time Protocol. Smart features include specialised algorithms for batteries, grids, and loads. Benefits include higher performance, reduced communication bandwidth requirements, and seamless integration with AI ecosystems.

Our wide bandwidth and low noise (MHz range) enable arc fault detection, both with traditional methods and innovative AI techniques. This is currently in research and development, compliant with IEC standards. For battery monitoring, our sensors are already used as components in electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) systems, and we have new patents on integrated EIS solutions.

Quality, Roadmap, and Why Choose Us

We are scaling production and expect to complete ISO 9001 certification within one year. We own a high‑precision, high‑current laboratory with temperature chambers and are pursuing ISO 17025 accreditation. We welcome customer‑specific customisation, covering the entire chain from sensor to measurement to processing.

On our roadmap: improving accuracy toward 10 ppm by reducing offset and hysteresis, releasing a 2000 A variant (followed by 3000 A), and adding arc fault detection and leakage current sensing.

Choose DC‑CT® when you need better accuracy and higher bandwidth than Hall or TMR can offer, lower noise and smaller form factor, or lower power consumption than fluxgate. Shunt resistors are limited in bandwidth and isolation.
